Video lesson by Erick Lindgren: Playing the final table in MT Poker Tournaments
There is a new video available for you to watch and learn from it at Full Tilt Poker Academy. In this poker video Eric Lindgren explains and demonstrates how to dominate the MTT final tables with a big stack and what to do when things are not going as planned.
Basically what you will learn is how to play final tables in Multi-Table Poker Tournaments from the person who has had big success with it. You can also take the Lindgren Challenge and earn yourself Academy Credits for completing it!
Full Tilt Poker has a new poker format: Rush Poker
If you like to play online poker as fast as possible, then FTP has exactly what you are looking for: Rush Poker! Basically, the Rush Poker is extremly fast paced and intense way of playing ring poker games, where you join a large pool of poker players and face different players every hand.
That means that every time you fold your hand you get transfered to a new online poker table. The time spent waiting for another hand is thus reduced significantly as you immediately get dealt another hand at the table you were transfered to! Pretty cool, isn’t it?

I have not had an opportunity to play this poker format, but it sure does sound very interesting. The FTP Pros agree with that, for instance Patrik Antonius says it is especially suitable for grinders.

Full Tilt Online Poker Series XV starts on 10th of February 2010. This time with 27 online poker events and with a total prize pool of more than $17 Million! You can also win entries for the as much events as you want by playing in the FTOPS XV Satellite Challenges on Full Tilt Poker.

Phil Hellmuth’s Poker Books
Phil Hellmuth also known as the Poker Brat is one of the most famous and (and successful as well, ofcourse) professional poker players, who also wrote numerous Poker Books. The area where Phil is especially good are Texas Holdem Poker Games.
To give you a proof of that: He has up to date won 11 WSOP bracelets and they were all Texas Holdem Tournaments! At this moment, no other poker player has managed to won so many WSOP titles. So far, the closest to him are Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson, both holding 10 WSOP titles, but these are not all from playing Texas Holdem variation of poker.
Besides that, he also cashed in all together more than 70 times on various WSOP Tournaments! This is especially amazing because he is far away from ending up his poker career. We will probably see him win again and again in the future!
This simply shows how big of a Texas Holdem Poker Tournament expert Phil Hellmuth is. His poker knowledge is therefore really valuable and can be of benefit to any seasonal or professional poker player.
One way of how you can learn from him are the books about poker that he wrote. But make sure you pick the right one as some of them are mainly written in an entertaining manner. Of course if you have no problem with that, then just go on and get it!

The book Bad Beats and Lucky Draws was published in October 2004 and is basically Phil Hellmuth’s collection of bad beat and big hand stories that can also help you get to know some interesting poker strategies and lessons, if you pay attention that is.
Special contributions from players like Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu and Johnny Chan are also included in this book.

Play Poker Like the Pros was first published somewhere in the year 2003 and is probably the most famous book written by Phil Hellmuth. By now it was sold in in more than 400,000 copies.
It consists out of 395 pages and includes various poker strategies that are suitable for beginners as well as for advanced poker players.

The Deal Me In book was actually not written by Phil Hellmuth, but he has his part in it as well. It was first published in September 2009 and consists out of 20 chapters.
Players such as Jennifet Harman, Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Devilfish and many others, share with you their stories on how they become proffesional poker players.
