Is the number of online poker players still increasing?
There is one thing about online poker that makes me excited every time I think about it. This one thing is the »fact« that the number of online poker players is keep getting bigger and bigger every day!
Why, you may ask. Well, simply because more players means more action, more mistakes and more dead money, that is waiting out there for you to pick it up!
Anyways, this statement (or »fact«) about online poker that I am making here does not base on real accurate data or other researches that would either confirm me or prove me wrong, but is rather based solely on the number of people in my social network that had not been playing online poker before, but are doing it now.
By my social network I mean people, who I know personaly. Most of them had not been involved in online poker until recently, but are now getting very passionate about it, building up their poker bankrolls and learning what No-limit Texas Holdem Poker is all about.
There are also others, who have not yet tried it out, but are now getting curious about it.

If I would therefore have to make a call whether the number of online poker players is higher today, then it was in the same time one year ago, I would definitely go for higher simply because of the fact that more of my friends are playing online poker today than last year.
