The current Guiness record for the largest online poker tournament is set at 35 000 registered players as stated on PokerStars.

Both Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars online poker rooms are competing to break this number tomorow. The buyin for PokerStars tournament is $1, the buyin for Full Tilt Poker is $5.
