Tweets about micro/low stakes holdem games from #Raceto250 poker challenge on Twitter
Few days ago I ran accross the #raceto250 poker challenge. Basically, it is an online Hold’em race in building bankroll from $10 to $250, which started couple of days ago on Twitter.
You can read about the details of the challenge and progress of the players here.
For the purpose of this blog post, I will just say that poker players in the #Raceto250 challenge are allowed to buy in only for the maximum of 10 % of their bankroll, which means they all start at micro limits and cannot just move up the limits and make money quicker.
No, in order to win, they have to follow the bankroll management. Anyways, the main reason for making a blog post out of this Hold’em race is to highligh the tweets, which are relevant for micro and low limits poker.
Some of the Tweeple, who are participating in this challenge, are professional poker players (I know @arispoker is, but am not sure of others), so any observation or advice from them is worth paying attention to.

#Raceto250 time. Playing a $1 18-player. Good cards = victory in a tourney where 7 players see every flop.

Now I remember why they call microlimits No Fold’em. Grinding $250 from $10 experiment. These limits lost their “fold” button.. #raceto250.
